Pauline’s role includes account management for all of our deliciouslyorkshire menu members and administration of membership paperwork to process your applications smoothly.

Sophie joined deliciouslyorkshire in April 2010 after graduating from Newcastle Business School. Sophie is the account manager for all hospitality and retail members, and in charge of the marketing programme here at deliciouslyorkshire. Sophie has particular skills in social media and digital marketing communications.

deliciouslyorkshire’s newest recruit, Pam joined in July 2011, and brings with her over 25 years experience of working in finance within industry. She has previously worked at Leeds Bradford International Airport, Granada Media Group and Asda-Walmart. She has a broad range of financial and business knowledge. As a not for profit organisation, Pam’s role at DY is to manage the financial activities of the company to ensure that a cost effective service is provided for our members.

Joanne joined the DY team in October 2009, and brought with her a wealth of online and customer sales knowledge. She works mainly on the online training arm of the business – byte online, developing online courses, and helping byte customers complete accredited training quickly, economically and easily. Cath Clelland

Cath, who lives near Tadcaster, North Yorkshire started her finance career in the construction industry where she qualified as a CIMA accountant. Since then she has had successful careers at Yorkshire Tyne Tees Television and Leeds Bradford International Airport as Finance and Commercial Director.

Cath has worked in both the private and the public sector at Board level for over 20 years. She and her husband also run a York based business.

Cath joined deliciouslyorkshire in September 2011 as Chair to support private SME food, beverage and hospitality businesses in Yorkshire & the Humber which she believes are vital to the economic wellbeing of our rural and local communities.

Founder & CEO of Shepherds Purse Cheeses Ltd – a family run business, supplying all the major supermarkets, independent retailers as well as some of the most prestigious restaurants, regionally and nationally.

Judy first became involved in the 'Yorkshire Pantry' during the very early days of setting up Shepherds Purse and found it to be a lifeline for start-up businesses - her business benefitted tremendously from their membership. She has been a Board member on and off since 1989 and remains committed to the network and the value that it brings to all of our members.

Educated at Dauntsey’s School, Wiltshire and Leeds University, Nick Stafford began his career as teacher in the independent sector and became a headmaster at the age of 28. Events then took a very different path in 1991 and Hambleton Ales, Thirsk, North Yorkshire was founded by Nick and his wife, Sally. The business thrived as a small, local brewery and has continued its modest expansion for over 20 years. Nick is also Commercial Director of SIBA (Society of Independent Brewers) as he is committed to mutually beneficial cooperative activity with competitors. Furthermore, he is passionately committed to supporting fellow food and drink producers in Yorkshire as a non executive Director of deliciouslyorkshire.

John Plant

John Plant joined the deliciouslyorkshire board in 2010, and brings with him a solid business background to the team. He is the Managing Director of G W Price Ltd, a fourth generation business, established in 1901. GW Price Ltd is the largest fruit and vegetable distribution business in northern England , employing over 80 people and running over 45 vans and lorries, over a hundred mile radius. Along with his duties at GW Price and director of deliciouslyorkshire, John is also a director of other businesses including Sheffield United FC and a magistrate of 20 years. Being a director of deliciouslyorkshire ties in with his love of the fresh food industry, and John welcomes any DY member to get in touch regarding fresh food or distribution services.

Alex Albone, director of Pipers Crisps, has been a director of deliciouslyorkshire for almost 4 years, and has been a member of deliciouslyorkshire since 2004. Pipers Crisps have found their membership with DY invaluable, especially in their early years, through exhibiting at consumer shows, and attending trade development events. Now a national brand, Pipers is still an active member of deliciouslyorkshire, and Alex, as a director, hopes to help members in the same way as he has been helped by deliciouslyorkshire.

Robert Crowson, Owner of Mackenzies Smokehouse has been on the deliciouslyorkshire board for over 7 years. Robert’s business Mackenzies Smokehouse in Nidderdale, uses traditional methods of curing and smoking fish, poultry, game and cheese to create award-winning products. Also a member of DY, Robert has enjoyed over 8 years of membership, which has helped Mackenzies grow and develop key business contacts. As a non executive director of deliciouslyorkshire Robert has been working closely with the team to develop the deliciouslyorkshire events plan to further promote our members.
