  • Produces outstanding, imaginative British cooking, using local and seasonal produce that reflects his surroundings and is passionate about traditional Yorkshire food
  • Has his finger firmly planted on the pulse of the best in British food, sourced locally and of the best quality
  • Has established a national reputation astonishingly quickly since he took over current establishment in 2006
  • Together with his wife has well and truly stamped his own personality and talent on their inn
  • Holds the only Michelin star to be awarded in East Yorkshire and is one of only ten pubs in the whole of the country to hold such an accolade.
  • He comes with a remarkable pedigree having worked for years alongside fellow Yorkshire Michelin starred chef Andrew Pern…

Yet, within a very short time of opening his own restaurant he created his own, unique food identity.

You can enter more than one category and submit as many products as you wish. Send in as much evidence to support your entry as possible, the awards are all about locally sourced, grown, reared, produced and value added products.

Registration for this years awards is now closed.

You are invited to nominate yourselves and tell us why your company deserves to be a winner. All entry forms, supporting evidence and entry fees must be returned by Friday 10th June for inclusion this year!.
