Do You Enjoy Baking Pies, Loaves or Cakes?

Is baking your hobby? Do you enjoy making special food? Can you turn out a great pie, a lovely cake or a tasty loaf?
Would you like to spend some time baking with some of Britain’s best bakers?
BBC 2 are making a new series about amateur bakers which will be judged by some of Britain’s baking heroes. ‘The Great British Bake Off’ is looking for amateur bakers who are talented but can show the rest of Britain what great food can come from their region.
We hope it will be a lot of fun and in the end one baker will be crowned the UK’s best amateur baker.
However long you’ve been baking for, we’d love to hear from you. If you’re interested in applying to take part in the series and would like to find out more, please email madeline.eaton@loveproductions.co.uk or call 0207 067 4860.
To apply you must be over 16 on 1st May 2010. As an ‘amateur baker’ your main source of income cannot come from commercial baking and / or cooking in a professional environment and you cannot have ever worked full time as a baker. You cannot have any formal NVQ or other professional catering qualifications acquired in the last 10 years. Other T&Cs apply.
