deliciouslyorkshire is on the menu at Harrogate Speciality Food Show 20-21 June 2010

Yorkshire Event Centre in Harrogate opens its doors to all food enthusiasts on 20-21 June to show the very best of Yorkshire’s food and drink. The Regional Food Group will be out in force supporting its members attending the show, and telling the region what benefits there are to being a member of deliciouslyorkshire.
This year the show is home to over 150 exhibitors – plus new to this year is features from Great Taste Live, the Guild of Fine Food’s plus an interactive theatre of teach-ins and workshops to test your food knowledge!
One stand to look out for is deliciouslyorkshire member, Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil. They are using this fantastic trade show to launch a new dressing range in response to consumer demand. Thixendale based Breckenholme Trading Co is extending its Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil brand with the launch of four deli style dressings. Just in time for BBQ season, get your hands on the dressings to spice up your salads!
Jennie Palmer, responsible for recipe development at Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil explained the rational for the launch… “Since we launched Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil we have been advising customers on how to combine the health benefits of the oil with other ingredients to make tasty alternative salad dressing. In response to this we started to develop some recipes that were very well received so we made the decision to launch them into farm shops delis and farmers markets throughout Yorkshire.”
In the Great Taste Live area of the show this year features deliciouslyorkshire member Damian Blackburn Grumpy Mule who is brewing up a storm in the cookery theatre to examine the current coffee trends and movements, giving spectators a chance to try the ‘Worlds Best Coffee’. A must visit to curb your caffeine cravings!
