Huddersfield’s free Food and Drink Festival

12/08/2010

Huddersfield’s free Food and Drink Festival Huddersfield’s free Food and Drink Festival returns this year to celebrate its 10th anniversary. With local celebrity chefs, over 40 food and drink stalls, an array of cooking demonstrations and free children’s entertainment, this year’s Festival will be the best yet.

As well as the old favourites, there are some new events and activities for this year including a Real Ale Trail around the town centre, a birthday party in the Festival Marquee on the Friday night and Festival menus in local restaurants. And to celebrate the 10th anniversary in style we will also be launching a specially made birthday cake and ice-cream flavour courtesy of local food producers and deliciouslyorkshire award winners in 2009 – ProperMaid and Yummy Yorkshire.

Make sure you don’t miss out!

Huddersfield Food and Drink Festival is held at St. George’s Square, Huddersfield on Thursday 12th – Sunday 15th August 2010.

For all the latest information on the Festival, visit the website www.foodanddrinkfestival.co.uk or call them on 01484 48793.
