Pot Luck Lunch…? Just Wine for me!

Flourish and Prosper, wine merchants and delicatessen in Howden have just lined up some fabulous events for the autumn, including some great wine tasting evenings that cannot be missed.
Taste delicious wines from Rioja, Lebanon, Champagne & Austria as part of their Wine & Food Extravaganza in October. The evening will see a large group of wine suppliers presenting their wines plus a number of Flourish and Prosper’s food producers including The Kitchen in Snaith, Lowna Dairy & White Rabbit Chocolate Co as well as some local restaurants offering little tastings.
Also – on Fridays and Saturdays the Yorkshire deli offer a Pot Luck Lunch for two, at the bargain price of £10. Lunch includes a selection of cheeses from the deli, some fresh bread from the Kitchen in Snaith, a few olives and a lovely glass of wine (perfect complimenting your lunch of course!)
“With the lovely weather for most of this summer so far, the table in our tiny courtyard has proved a great hit for our Pot Luck Lunches.” Says Sean Welsh who along with his wife Julie, owns the shop.
