Wentbridge House is a beautiful four-star country house hotel, boasting a two rosette restaurant and brasserie.
Set in 20 acres of gardens and grounds, Wentbridge House has 41 individually designed and decorated bedrooms, and is close to the cities of Wakefield, Doncaster, Leeds and York.

- Lamb – the flavour and its a very versatile product

- Sticky toffee pudding
- What are your top 3 cooking tips?
- Seal all meat to retain flavor, don’t over season, use three main flavours and don’t over complicate things
- If you could have a super power what would it be?
- To fly
- Do you have a favorite Yorkshire product, what is it, and why?
- Round Green Farm Venison as its quality meat and my customers love it
- Do you think local food is best, if so, why?
- Yes
- What would you say is your greatest achievement?
- Being awarded 2 Rosettes for the Fleur De Lys restaurant

- Michael Caines, he didn’t let a disability stop him becoming a world class chef
